McAfee, Inc. Complete Security Earns Five Star Rating from SC Magazine

– Offering from Recently Acquired MX Logic Receives Top Marks in Ease of Use, Performance and Support –

SANTA CLARA, Calif., September 22, 2009 - McAfee, Inc. (NYSE:MFE), today announced that Complete Security, a product recently obtained during its acquisition of MX Logic, earned one of the highest ratings from SC Magazine in its Fraud Prevention group test. SC Magazine awarded the solution five out of a possible five stars in the following categories: ease of use, performance and support. The product garnered an overall rating of five stars.

The Complete Security solution is a cloud-based SaaS offering that includes the Email Defense service, Web Defense service and Message Archiving service. All three services are integrated within a single, easy-to-use online control console. Email Defense provides advanced messaging protection, including more than 20 layers of spam and anti-virus filters. Web Defense works at the network perimeter, blocking spyware, viruses and phishing attacks. The Message Archiving service allows users to quickly store and retrieve messages that can be securely archived from one to seven years.
